4. 24 hours and I have to free the fairy

Madison’s forcing me to release the little fairy.  She gave me an ultimatum this morning.  Let the fairy go or I’ll tell our parents!!  I only have 24 hours.  She’ll tell, no doubt about that.  I didn’t expected her to keep still forever, not Madison.  I’ve had the fairy for about 10 days now and I guess the limits of Madison’s patience have reached an end.  Not sure what I’m going to do.
A lot of you feel the same way as Madison.  You think it wrong of me to hold the fairy against her will.  Some of you say it’s mean, but I’m taking good care of the fairy and I would never let anything bad happen to her.  I’m planning to let her go eventually, I just want a little more time.  I really really don’t want to lose her.  I just wish I had a little more time.

  1. Michael, do not listen to Madison. It's just a threat. You don't have to release the fairy.

  2. Madison has no right to tell you what to do. It's not her fairy.

    1. No, Madison is correct. You are behaving irrresponsibly and Madison should tell your mom. You should not be keeping an intelligent creature, such as a fairy, as a pet and your mom should know about it. There should be no secrets from parents. What would be even better would be for you to tell your mother yourself.

  3. Madison should not be giving you ultimatiums. How rude. She thinks she knows more than you. She is right, the fairy should be set free, but she should not be trying to order you around.

  4. I would recommend you hide the fairy. Do you have a basement or attic in your house? Tell Madison to mind her own business and keep the fairy hidden and out of sight and don't let Madison or anyone else near it. No one will believe her.

  5. Do not risk exposure of the fairy to the general public, which would surely happen if Madison falls through on her threat to tell your parents. Finding a fairy is a once in a life time experience. I would recommend you go into hiding. Do you have any freinds or relatives that live out of state where you could seek refuge for a few months and keep the fairy hidden?

  6. Why is everyone getting down on Madison? How rude. Madison is the only one with any sense. Do what she says and release the fairy. You know you should.

    1. Sunny, you and Madison need to pull your heads out of the rabbit hole. The discovery of a live fairy is a major scientific breakthrough which should not be thrown away for silly sentimental reasons. Why would anyone let it go?

    3. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. How old are you, five?

    4. Old enough to know more than you when it comes to right or wrong apparently. And by the way, I'm 13.

  7. Perhaps I was wrong and you should let the fairy go. You can be happy for the time you did get to spend with the fairy and not do wrong in trying to keep her any longer. Let her go before any harm comes to her.

  9. Michael is not going to sell the fairy to anyone and he is not going to cave in to Madison's demands to release the fairy. I have faith he will find a way to keep her.

  10. I am having second thoughts and thinking maybe Madison is right. She might be pushy, but she has more commone sense than you do Michael. She is right to make you free the fairy since you obviously aren't going to do it unless forced.
